Life is good.  Our five kids have given us 18 Grandkids, who are the cutest and brightest of all grandkids.  It is hard to realize it has been 50 years since the good old days at South, but I guess time marches on.  Lived in Washington State and Missouri since South but have returned home for the "golden years."  (That is they feel more like lead some days).

Sorry I will miss the reunion, but my best wishes to all for all the great memories.  I miss my two good buddies in Hack Post and John Wilding and look  forward to another reunion someday with these Cubs.

This reunion has brought many memories. I am amazed at how many of our Cub friends have died, but fond memories of them remain.

Thinking back over the years and some of the dreams I had in my youth didn't shape into the experiences of my 'now' days. However, life is grand and I'm grateful for the understandings I have obtained and also the growth experienced--besides, dreams sometimes are a little too far reaching and often unattainable...not a negative, just a reality.

In 1996 I made a second try at marriage and caught a wonderful man with 3 children and 10 grandchildren. Needless to say, my family has increased. We have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 8+ great-grandchildren.

My husband and I live in Farmington, UT...a place I thought I would never be because in my youth I really didn't like the idea of 'country' living and didn't think much about living West of the freeway with Lagoon in sight. However, circumstances have a way of changing ideas, and I now love being in the Farmington area and the sights and sounds of Lagoon aren't so bad after all--kinda fun!

Lots of life has happened to the South High Class of '63! May we all be grateful for each blessing received and give thanks to the One who has given so freely. Have a wonderful Earthly experience and I look forward to seeing you at the Reunion.

Retired/Sort of Married 4
I retired in 2005 after 31 years in a fairly cushy job as operations and data control manager for the J.C. Penney Accounting Center here in Salt Lake City.

Then I went to work with my wife (Judy Daniels, class of 64) and kids in a family owned business. We own and operate a Wedding Reception Center in Draper, Utah. Operating your own business is when I found out what work really is. But, we have also enjoyed many of the perks that come along with it. We've been able to travel to many parts of the world and done things I never would have thought possible.

It was great to meet with some of the people from the reunion committee and I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of OLD friends.
